Cherry Garcia Run 10K
This is the 22nd annual Cherry Garcia Run. It is held in Albuquerque's North Valley at Valley High School on a fast and flat loop course.
The event includes multiple distance options. Participants can choose from:
- 10K (run)
- 5K (run/walk)
- Kids K for participants 12 and under (non-timed event)
- A virtual run/walk option for the 10K and 5K distances
All participants receive a finisher medal and an event t-shirt. The 10K and 5K are timed events with overall and age group awards. The finish line features a misting tunnel and super soaker, and post-race refreshments are provided. Proceeds from the event benefit youth running programs through the RunFit non-profit organization.
