Cherry Garcia Run 10K, 5K and Kids K : Albuquerque, NM
The Cherry Garcia Run is a community running event held at Valley High School in Albuquerque with the finish at Griegos Elementary School Field. Organizers offer multiple event options and a virtual participation choice.

- 10K 6.21 Miles
- 5K 3.12 Miles
- Kids K 1K for children 11 and under
All timed events use an electronic timing chip attached to the bib; bibs must be worn on the front and are nontransferable. The Kids K is a non-timed youth event and receives a special recognition award. Overall and age group awards are presented for the 5K and 10K with specified age divisions for men and women. Water and Gatorade stations are provided along the courses; the 5K has two water stops and the 10K has three.
Packet pickup is available before race day and packets may be picked up by a designated representative. Virtual participants may complete their chosen distance during the designated virtual window and receive race packet shipping if selected. Parking is organized at Valley High School and at Griegos Elementary School with entry via Candelaria Boulevard; organizers give separate parking guidance for 10K and 5K/Kids K participants.
Race rules cover conduct, course reentry, use of wheeled devices, timing device requirements, and the nonrefundable and nontransferable policy for entries. Proceeds support RunFit youth running and fitness programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
