Cherry Garcia Run 10K
The Cherry Garcia Run is a community race held on June 21, 2026 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with the primary venue at Valley High School and a finish at Griegos Elementary School field. The event offers in-person and virtual participation options and includes a separate non timed Kids K.

The course is described as a fast, flat loop through Albuquerque’s North Valley. Timing for the 10K and 5K uses an electronic timing chip attached to the bib; participants must wear the assigned chip and bib visibly to receive an official time and to be eligible for overall and age group awards. The Kids K is non timed and all registered kids receive special recognition at the finish.
Awards: overall top three men and women and age group awards are given for the 10K and 5K, with age categories spanning youth through senior divisions. Water and aid stations are provided along the course; the 10K has three water stops and the 5K has two. Packet pickup is available the day before the event at Fleet Feet Sports North Towne Plaza. Race officials reserve the right to enforce conduct, safety, and medical rules and to delay or cancel the event for severe conditions.
