About the race
The NWR Cheer Bunny Hop 5K & Fun Run takes place on March 31, 2026, at Northwest Rankin High School in Flowood, Mississippi. The event includes in person and virtual options with the following event types: 5K Run, 5K Walk, Fun Run, Virtual Run, and Virtual 5K Walk. This is a first year race organized to benefit the Northwest Rankin High School Cheer program. Proceeds will support athlete training, competition fees, uniforms, and program development.
Funds will also assist with travel expenses for the team to compete in the national competition. A DJ will be at the start and finish line. The event is described as family friendly; strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed on a leash. Registration is not required for children under five years old.
