The Breaking the Loop Race takes place on February 28, 2026, in Brandon, MS (Spillway Road, 39047). The event includes these distances:

Course and race services
The course will have six water stops located at the 5K turnaround, the 10K turnaround, the end of trail at HWY 471, Countryside Dr, the beginning of the causeway, and the start/finish area. City water fountains on the path are active but may be delayed if they have not been used recently. Participants in the 11 miler and 22 miler are advised to bring a hydration vest or bottle to ensure hydration along most of the route.
There will be police present at crossing sections on Northshore. The Central MS Amateur Radio Association will monitor the race path for safety and will assist with communications and weather updates. The event is planned to proceed rain or shine.
