Event overview
The Mississippi Blues Marathon will be held on February 21, 2026 in Jackson, Mississippi. The 19th edition of the event will start and finish at Jackson State University Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2531 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216. The start area is located just outside the football field and the finish line is on the 50 yard line of the stadium. The event includes an awards presentation with gold, silver and bronze awards.

Packet pickup and in-person registration take place the day before at Buffalo Peak Outfitters in Highland Village Shopping Center and race weekend pickup is at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Registered marathon runners receive a long sleeve quarter zip shirt; half, 10K, 5K and relay participants receive long sleeve technical shirts. All finishers receive a 4 inch BB King Centennial finisher medal and commemorative tote bags. On-course and finish photos will be captured by Marathon Photos Live. Food and beverages are provided for athletes, including jambalaya, fruit, snacks, bottled drinks and beer for those 21 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
