Cheddar Gorge Challenge and Omnium - 14 June 2026
The Cheddar Gorge Challenge and Omnium is an off-road running event at Warren Farm, Charterhouse, Somerset (BS40 7XR) on 14 June 2026. Tickets for this event are currently sold out. The event includes single-distance races and a multi-event Omnium challenge.

The event format uses wave starts of about 100 runners. There is a 3 hour cut off to start lap 2 of the marathon. Omnium competitors using the Half Marathon as their long event must finish that run within 3 hours 15 minutes to continue. Other distances have no formal cut offs, and pure walkers are not permitted. Minimum ages apply by distance (for example Marathon 18, Half Marathon 17, 10 km 14, 6 km 12, 3 km 10; 1 km has no minimum).
Medals are awarded to finishers of 6 km and longer with a large two-sided 10 cm x 10 cm medal. Prize categories cover top overall and age groups; the number of awards depends on finishers per race (full range if over 100 finishers, reduced if fewer).
The courses are waymarked and marshalled. Terrain includes open fields, flat stone paths, and some technical rocky sections. Feed stations provide water, electrolyte and a variety of snacks; counts vary by distance (for example 1 on 6 km, 2 on 10 km, 4 on the Half Marathon, 9 on the Marathon).
On-site parking is available with a £2 per car charge payable to the farmer. Camping is available on site at £10 per person per night. Facilities include toilets, coffee and food vans and a bag drop; there are no changing rooms. The routes are not suitable for buggies or canicross. Spectators are welcome, with the best viewing at the start/finish. Group discounts apply for entries of 10 or more. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
