Event overview
The Cheddar Gorge Challenge and Omnium takes place on Sunday 14 June 2026 at Warren Farm, Charterhouse, Somerset BS40 7XR. The organiser is Relish The Great Outdoors. The event uses a wave format with groups of about 100 runners to spread starts. Spectators are welcome, with the start and finish listed as primary viewing points.

An Omnium multi-event option combines a long distance race (6 km, 10 km or Half Marathon) plus a 100 m sprint, a 1 km middle distance and a hill climb. The marathon has a 3 hour cut off to start lap two. Omnium entrants using the Half Marathon as their long event must finish in 3 hours 15 minutes to be ready for the next Omnium discipline. Other distances have no formal cut offs. Pure walkers are not admitted; mixed run-jog-walk is permitted.
Course, support and logistics
Routes are waymarked and marshalled and include open fields, flat stone paths and technical rocky sections. Feed stations provide water, electrolyte and a mix of food including gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options: 1 station on the 6 km, 2 on the 10 km, 4 on the Half Marathon and 9 on the Marathon. All 6 km and longer finishers receive a 10 cm by 10 cm two-sided event medal. On site parking is available with a £2 per car charge to the farmer. Camping is offered at Warren Farm. Toilets, coffee and food vans and a bag drop are provided; there are no changing rooms. Buggy and canicross participants are not suitable for the routes.
