Event overview
The Chatham Turkey Trot is the 21st edition of an annual 5K run/walk held in Chatham, Massachusetts on November 27, 2025. The in-person event is presented as an untimed fun run or walk over winding, rolling paved roads. Strollers are welcome and the event is described as family friendly. All money and donations raised are donated to the Lower Cape Outreach Council.
Registration and logistics
Registration is open from early September through November 27, 2025, with both in-person and virtual options. Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) in-person run / walk
- 5K (virtual)
Entry fees and shirt policy: in-person registration is listed at $35 per person if completed by November 3, increasing to $45 between November 4 and November 27. Virtual registration is listed at $20. Register by October 24 to receive a free race T-shirt; virtual registration does not include a T-shirt. T-shirts are available for purchase at bib pickup locations and on race morning for registrants who missed the free-shirt deadline. Registration pickup is scheduled at Marathon Sports (Yarmouth) and at the Chatham Community Center on the days prior to the event, with additional pickup available on the morning of the race.
