Chasing Spirits 5K
The Grove at Orange Park presents the inaugural Chasing Spirits 5K, a wellness-focused daytime "Darty" held on Oct 31, 2026 at Orange Park Country Club. The course runs along the golf club cart paths, offering varied terrain, ample space to run, and no traffic on the route. Orange Park Country Club is a gated community; visitors should announce they are there for the race and follow the main road to the clubhouse.
Entry fees vary by date: early entry is $30 and includes a spooky Chasing Spirits tee shirt, late entry is $35, and race day entry is $40. The tee shirt cutoff date is midnight on Oct 23, 2026. Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners and to first place male and female finishers in five-year age groups from under 9 through 70 and over.
A hydration station is included and supplies coffee, chilled bottled water, electrolyte drinks (examples provided), and fruit such as oranges and bananas. A post race party on the outdoor patio will feature a Recovery Rave with a live DJ, breakfast and brunch options available onsite for $15 per person, coffee, awards, live music, cocktail and mocktail options, and health and wellness vendors. A costume contest will name three winners in Child, Adult, and Team categories; each winner receives a $25 Grove Gift Certificate.
