Chasing Jami Memorial 5k
This event takes place on August 8, 2026, at 2507 Hayes Avenue in Fremont, Ohio. The main event is a community 5K run and walk that begins and ends at the New Hope Vineyard Church parking lot. Strollers are permitted and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race.
Distances offered include:
- 5K run and walk starting and finishing at New Hope Vineyard Church parking lot
- 1/4 mile youth run for ages 12 and under with squirt guns and color blasts
A separate kids run for ages 9 and under follows the 5K. Packet pick up and race day registration are available on race day. Pre-registration by July 28 guarantees a t-shirt and can be completed online, by mail, or in person at Pontifex at 416 West State Street, Fremont, Ohio 43420.
Fees listed by the organizer are $30 per person for pre-registration, $20 for ages 10 to 17, and free for ages 9 and under; a child t-shirt may be purchased for $12. Race day registration is listed at $30 and does not guarantee a t-shirt. All proceeds from the race will go to Pontifex, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
