Chasing El Chavo 5k
The Chasing El Chavo 5k is a run/walk event that takes place on gravel trails around the 150-acre family-owned Blake's Orchard and Cider Mill in Armada, Michigan. The event features a fiesta theme.
Registered participants receive a race kit that includes a t-shirt, a commemorative pint glass, a donut, and a can of hard cider or sweet cider for participants over 21. T-shirt sizes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are not guaranteed for registrations made less than 14 days before the event.
The event is open to all ages, and costumes are encouraged. Strollers are permitted at the participant's discretion, but pets are not allowed. A fiesta-themed party is held outdoors after the race.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the first and second place finishers in multiple age categories. Awards include Blake's gift cards and trophies.
