Event Details
The Chasing Chad's Recovery 5K and 1 Mile Kids' Trot is a fundraising event on May 17, 2026, in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. It is organized by the TJHS Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy.
Course and Location
The race is the second annual 5K held on Corrigan Drive in South Park. The start is at the corner of Corrigan Drive and 100 Acres Drive. The event includes a 1 Mile Kids' Trot in addition to the 5K.
Additional Activities
A post-race gathering is planned at the Lebanon Pavilion, located right off of 100 Acres Drive. Activities include a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, and food available for purchase.
Purpose
All proceeds from the event support a family facing medical bills after the father was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome.
Logistics
Official timing for both distances is provided by Miles of Smiles. Parking is available across Corrigan Drive at the Ice Skating Rink and in a lot at the bottom of 100 Acres Drive.
