Chase the Moon Battersea Park 5k & 10k - Battersea Park, 6 October 2027
Chase the Moon Battersea Park is an evening running event held at Battersea Park in London. The course uses the park's wide tarmac paths, is described as totally flat, and consists of laps around the park with the start and finish at the Parks Bandstand. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are present along the course.
Distances
- 5 km : 2 laps, minimum age 11
- 10 km : 4 laps, minimum age 15
Entries include a unique themed medal, chip-timed results, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Water stations are positioned on every lap and a bottle of water is provided at the finish. A secure baggage marquee is available and baggage tags are attached to race numbers for collection. Toilets are located in the event village, which also serves as the recommended area for spectators to view the start and finish.
There is a 90 minute cut-off time due to park restrictions. The event welcomes buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and requests that they remain mindful of other participants when overtaking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
