Virginia Beach 10 Miler
The Virginia Beach 10 Miler presented by Sentara takes place on May 8, 2027 at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The event offers multiple distances along the Oceanfront and includes race weekend programming such as published schedules and pace groups.
- 10 Miler - course along the Oceanfront past King Neptune's Statue and the Virginia Aquarium.
- 5K - scenic 3.1-mile course along the Oceanfront and beach.
The 10 Miler route passes visible landmarks including King Neptune’s Statue, the Atlantic Avenue Ferris Wheel, Rudee Inlet, the Virginia Aquarium, and the State Military Reservation, and finishes on the boardwalk steps near the historic pier. The 5K follows a shorter Oceanfront route suitable for runners and walkers.
A Live the Life Challenge pairs a virtual 5K completed before race day with the on-site 10 Miler for extra recognition and an additional finisher item. After the races, J&A Racing hosts a post race beach party that includes live music, cold beer, and informal celebrations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
