The Charm City Run 5K at Boordy Vineyards takes place on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Boordy Vineyards in Hydes, MD (12820 Long Green Pike). The event includes the following distances:

Course, logistics and amenities
The out-and-back 5K starts and ends on the vineyard property and uses varying terrain: grass, gravel, and paved road. Runners pass through a grassy stretch at the beginning and end; the majority of the course is on paved road. Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, skates, bikes, and pets are not allowed on the course. Participants are discouraged from using headphones. Race numbers must be worn on the front and not exchanged.
Participants receive a cotton/poly blend race shirt, a souvenir wine glass (complimentary fill for participants 21 and over), post-race snacks, and access to a post-race area with live music, food vendors, and additional wine for sale. Packet pickup is scheduled at Charm City Run store locations on the days prior to the race and at Boordy Vineyards on race day. Specific packet pickup dates and locations are provided by the organizer.
Awards and virtual race details
Overall awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three males and females in standard age categories from 14 & under through 70+. A virtual 5K option is available with swag distribution via packet pickup or mail; virtual results are submitted to the event results page.
