Race details and amenities
The out-and-back 5K starts and ends on the vineyard property and covers grass, gravel, and paved road. Runners pass through a grassy stretch of the vineyard at the beginning and end of the course. Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, skates, bikes, and pets are not permitted on the course. Awards will be given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers overall, plus top three males and females in specified age groups from 14 & under through 70+.
Participants receive a cotton/poly blend race shirt, a souvenir wine glass (complimentary fill for participants 21 and over), post-race snacks, and access to a post-race area with live music and food vendors. The Long Green Land Trust is listed as a beneficiary.
Packet pickup is scheduled at two store locations before race day and at Boordy Vineyards on race day. Roads into the vineyard will be closed prior to the race and will re-open afterward; only vineyard-purchased alcohol is permitted on the premises.
Virtual participants may pick up swag at packet pickup or have it mailed; virtual results must be submitted by August 9 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
