Holiday Road Race at Cedar Lane Regional Park
US Road Running hosts this multi-distance running event at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Bel Air, Maryland. The event features three different race distances to accommodate various participation preferences. All registration must be completed online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Runners can collect their race packets at the park shortly before the scheduled start.
Participants choose from the following distance options:
- 5K: An out-and-back route completed twice along a 0.78-mile course section.
- 10K: An out-and-back route completed four times along a 0.78-mile course section.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back route completed six times along a 1.09-mile course section.
The race environment includes specific course structures for each distance. The 5K and 10K rely on a 1.56-mile round-trip loop, while the Half Marathon utilizes a 2.18-mile round-trip loop. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. All runners who finish their respective distances receive a finisher medal. Individuals are also encouraged to participate in a costume competition, with a group photograph taken at the beginning of the event.
