Charlie Beard Firecracker 5K Run/Walk
The event takes place on July 4, 2026, at The Lake Waynoka Beach (Open Gate) in Lake Waynoka, Ohio. The race begins and ends at the beach location near 1 Waynoka Drive, Lake Waynoka, OH 45171.
The program includes these distances:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and top three women in each age category, and to the top overall man and top overall woman. Walkers will be recognized separately with awards for the top five men and the top five women.
Age groups for awards are organized as follows: 12 and under; 13–19; 20–30; 31–44; 45–59; Over 60.
Registration opens on June 5, 2026, and closes on June 27, 2026. The registration fee is $20.00. All proceeds from the event are designated for the Eastern High School Track Scholarship Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
