Event Overview
The Bill Brewer Honor Run is a 5k run/walk held in Williamsburg, Ohio. It is held to honor Clermont County Deputy Sheriff's Detective Bill Brewer, who was killed in the line of duty in 2019. He was a 1996 graduate and Athletic Hall of Fame athlete for Williamsburg High School. The event provides scholarships for Williamsburg High School seniors.
Distances and Events
The event offers three participation options:
- Adult 5K Run/Walk: Open to participants aged 18 and over.
- Child 5K Run/Walk: Open to participants aged 17 and under.
- Sleep In/Donation: A virtual donation option.
Divisions and Awards
The running event features separate male and female divisions across many age groups, starting from 7-12 up to 70 and over. A separate fitness walk has divisions for ages 29 and under up to 60 and over. Awards are given to the top male and female runners and walkers, and to first place in each age division. All participants, up to 300 people, receive a finish medal.
Location and Registration
The event starts and finishes at 500 South 5th Street in Williamsburg. Standard registration fees are $25 for adults and $10 for children without a shirt, with an option to purchase a shirt for an additional fee.
