Event overview
The CHARACTER COUNTS! in St. Johns County Six Pillars Run/Walk takes place on February 7, 2026, in St. Augustine, FL at Palencia Elementary School, 355 Palencia Village Drive, 32095. The event includes two distance options:
- 6K Run/Walk
- 3K Run/Walk
Both distances offer awards for overall male and female finishers, male and female masters winners, and the top three in multiple age groups from 9 and under up to 70 and over.
Registration, fees and race logistics
Entry fees are $30 before January 1, $35 from January 1 through February 6, and $40 on race day. Mail-in registration is accepted to Community Relations at 40 Orange Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084; mail-in entries must be postmarked by January 23, 2026. Once registered and paid, no refunds will be given.
Packet pick-up is available Friday, February 6 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on race day from 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM at the race site. Participants registered by December 31, 2025 will receive a run t-shirt, with sizes subject to substitution.
The race will be timed and scored by Hasselmania Productions using disposable electronic tags attached to bib numbers. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the event. Organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race in the event of inclement weather, emergency or natural disaster; no refunds will be issued for a cancellation.
