Chamblee Bulldog Dash 5K
The Chamblee Bulldog Dash is a traditional, timed 5K run/walk held on March 6, 2027. The event is hosted by the Chamblee Middle School Education Foundation and the Chamblee High School Blue & Gold Foundation, with proceeds benefiting those two school foundations.
The course is 3.1 miles (5 kilometers) and is USATF certified. The route starts and finishes at Chamblee Middle School, runs through neighborhood streets, and makes a loop around Chamblee High School. The course includes several hills and uses local roads; parking for participants is provided in the Chamblee High School lot with access to the start/finish area via North DeKalb Stadium. Restrooms are available at the start/finish area; there are no restrooms or hydration stations along the course.
Timing is by chip and results are based on gun time. Each bib includes a timing chip and a QR code for live results. Registered participants receive a T-shirt (guaranteed for registrations received by 2/15, subject to availability later) and race swag. Awards are given for Overall, Masters, and Age Group (1st–3rd male and female) and include trophies and medals; top middle and high school finishers also receive recognition.
Packet pick-up and in-person registration are hosted at Big Peach Ride + Run Brookhaven prior to race day, with additional packet pick-up available on race day. Race photos are provided by an official photographer and past race photos have been available for download. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
