CFJ Carousel 5K and Kids Fun Run
The CFJ Carousel 5K and Carousel Kids Fun Run take place on July 25, 2026, in Johnson City, NY (CFJ Blvd, 13790). The event includes a 5K race and a separate kids fun run. Registration opens February 1, 2026. Additional event information is available from the race organizer.
Race purpose and amenities
The event benefits the CFJ Carousel and Johnson City Rotary Carousel Day; a portion of proceeds is directed to the Johnson City Rotary. Registered participants receive a unique custom t-shirt and a custom finisher medal depicting the CFJ Carousel. A post-race festival with vendors and entertainment is scheduled at the park.
Gift card prizes are awarded to overall and masters winners and to age group winners. Overall and masters prizes for male and female finishers are: first $25, second $20, third $15. Age group prizes for male and female finishers are: first $15, second $10, third $5.
Packet pickup is offered at Confluence Running on July 24 and at CFJ Park on July 25; separate pickup is provided for the kids fun run on July 25. Entry fees listed are $32.80 for the 5K (including a $2.80 fee) and $16.90 for the kids fun run (including a $1.90 fee). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
