CERC Prediction Run
CERC Prediction Run is a free, noncompetitive prediction event organized by the Columbus Eastside Running Club at Nocterra Brewing in Columbus, Ohio (516 Maier Pl.). The course is approximately 3 miles. Participants submit a best estimate of how long it will take them to complete the course and aim to finish as close as possible to that prediction.
Timing devices are not allowed. The official rules prohibit watches, phones, GPS units, and other timekeeping devices. Ties are resolved with rock paper scissors, best two of three.
The field is limited to 200 participants. Registration opens March 7, 2026 and closes June 6, 2026. The registration fee is listed as free.
Event day includes race number pickup, a dynamic warm up, postrun beverages and brunch at Nocterra, and results and awards. Awards and door prizes are part of the event; an overall winner will receive an award.
Attendees are asked not to park in the Scioto Audubon Metro Park lots. There is a large parking area outside Nocterra Brewing that is identified as the appropriate parking location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
