Central Florida Heroes 5K
The 5th Annual Central Florida Heroes 5K takes place on November 7, 2026 at the Tom Fellows Community Center in Davenport, Florida, 207 North Boulevard W, 33837. The event is scheduled for Veterans Day weekend and will recognize veterans, active military, firefighters, law enforcement, first responders, teachers and healthcare professionals.
Distances offered include:
- 5K road race in Davenport
- Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) for remote participation
Registration opens and closes on specified dates for each option and the registration fee is $30.00. Shirts and sizes are guaranteed for participants who pre-register before October 11, 2026. All participants will receive a tri-blend t-shirt, a custom bib, a finisher medal and giveaways from participating vendors. The event includes vendor displays, a pancake breakfast and an awards ceremony.
Parking and road information: some roads around the Tom Fellows Community Center, including State Street and North Blvd W, will be closed in preparation. Organizers advise arriving before 7:00am to avoid traffic related to those closures.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at a designated location and there is day-of race packet pickup only; there is no day-of race registration. Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
