About the race
Centra Run Together marks its 10th anniversary in 2026 with a community running event at Ormeau Park, Belfast on Sunday 18th October. The event offers two measured routes and has 2,000 places available, an increase of 400 places across the two distances.
The event raises funds for Action Cancer. To date Centra Run Together has raised £195,000 and aims to exceed a £200,000 target. Funds support Action Cancer’s mobile detection unit, the Big Bus, and have paid for almost 4,000 health checks. Action Cancer also provides breast screening for women aged 40–49 and 70 plus, and skin cancer detection assessments.
Entry fees are donated in full to Action Cancer. Participant benefits listed for the anniversary edition include a free T-shirt, a bespoke anniversary medal, a goodie bag, free lunch, food samples including Moo’d Ice Cream, and family-friendly entertainment. Race number collection is available at Action Cancer on dates before the event; collected numbers include the timing chip and T-shirt.
