Centerstone Life;Story is a community run and walk event focused on suicide prevention and connection. The event brings together multiple locations and a virtual option, and it supports Centerstone’s mental health and addiction services for people with limited or no resources. The semicolon in Life;Story represents a pause, not an ending, and the event reflects that idea.
The event program includes in-person and remote participation options. The Marion 5K is chip timed and registration includes the official 2026 race shirt, finisher medal, chip timed race bib, and a professionally managed course. A Godfrey location offers an untimed 5K with shirt, finisher medal, and a race bib that is not chip timed. The virtual 5K provides a shirt, finisher medal, and souvenir bib; virtual participants are encouraged to record and upload their time but are not eligible for overall or age group awards.
The Life;Story Kids Dash is for children ages 3 to 12, is not timed, and uses age bracketed sprints. All children in the Kids Dash receive a race shirt and finisher medal. Minimum age to register for a 5K is 5 years. Youth ages 5 to 17 receive a discounted 5K price. Race packets registered before Aug 17 can be shipped prior; later registrations are available for pick-up or will ship after the event.
