Centennial100 Relay and Ultra
The Centennial100 Relay and Ultra is a long-distance running event held in Snohomish, Washington. The course follows the Centennial Trail, spanning a total distance of 100 km (approximately 62 miles). The event starts and finishes at Space 802 on 1st Street in Snohomish.
Participants can choose to complete the course individually or as part of a relay team. The following entry options are available:
- 100 km Solo
- 100 km Relay (Teams of 2, 3, or 6 runners)
The route is divided into several segments with established exchange points at Machias, Rhododendron, Armar, Legion Memorial, Bryant, and Red Barn. For relay teams, different runners cover specific legs of the course ranging from approximately 4 miles to over 7 miles. In a 6-person relay configuration, individual total distances for each runner range between 9.61 and 11.56 miles.
Each exchange point along the trail features a specific theme. Finishers receive different quantities of cowbells based on their category, with solo runners receiving seven cowbells and relay team members receiving between two and four cowbells depending on team size. Registered participants receive a mesh football jersey as race swag. The event includes an after-party at the finish area featuring a beer garden, food, and music until the final runners arrive.
