Centennial Athletics December Dash
The Centennial Athletics December Dash is an annual 5K run and walk held at St Lucie West Centennial High School in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This event marks the third year of the competition, which takes place on the school campus to support the local athletics department. Funds raised through participation are used to finance facility upgrades for student athletes.
Participants can choose from three distinct registration categories:
- 5K in-person running race with a shirt and medal included.
- 5K "Old Skool" race featuring a lower entry fee without a shirt or medal.
- 5K virtual race that allows runners to complete the distance at any location.
The course is designed to start and end within the school's back courtyard, situated directly in front of the gymnasium. This central location serves as the hub for both the beginning and the conclusion of the race.
Parking is available in the student lot adjacent to St. Lucie West K-8 school. This area can be accessed via Cameo Blvd from Crosstown Parkway, or by turning from Cashmere Blvd onto Education Way near McChesney Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
