Event Overview
The Cenikor National Recovery Month 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk takes place in Corpus Christi, Texas. This athletic event is organized in observance of National Recovery Month and offers multiple ways for individuals to participate in the local community or from a distance.
Course and Distances
Participants can choose between two primary distances during the in-person event:
- 5K Run
- 1-Mile Walk
The physical event is held at West Guth Park, located at 9725 Up River Road. For those unable to attend the park in person, a virtual runner option is available. Virtual participants can complete their distance from any location and submit their results electronically by the day of the event.
Participation Details
Entry includes specific commemorative items for early registrants. The first 225 people to register receive an official event t-shirt and a finisher medal. While virtual participants also receive a t-shirt and finisher medal if registered by the deadline, competitive awards are handled differently. Overall placements and age group awards are reserved exclusively for those participating in person at the park.
Packet pickup and late registration are scheduled for the day prior to the race at Brewsters Street on North Tancahua Street. This pre-race gathering serves as a kick-off party for the event weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
