Seacoast Bank Celebration Run

The Seacoast Bank Celebration Run includes a certified 5K and a one mile fun run held in Jacksonville. The event provides moisture wicking shirts to participants, custom designed finisher medals for all 5K finishers, and fun run finisher medals for the one mile.

The 5K course is USATF certified, described as very flat with few turns and with shade in the second half of the route. Parking is available in lots surrounding the 1st Place Sports location. Packet pickup is available at selected 1st Place Sports stores in the days before the race; unclaimed packets are available at the race site on race morning.

Awards include prize money for the top three overall men and women, a masters overall prize, and three deep age group awards in five year categories for both men and women. Overall and age group winners also receive a watermelon in addition to other awards. Prize money may be claimed by both masters and overall winners when applicable.

The event features a post race Watermelon Festival with watermelon, prizes, electrolyte popsicles, bananas, and other refreshments. Participants may carry an American flag supplied at the starting line if reserved during registration. Bicycles and dogs are not allowed on the course. Funds raised support local high school cross country and track programs, a summer camp scholarship program, and construction of a new three mile running trail.
