Event Details
The Celebrate Life Run is an annual event featuring a 5K and a virtual 5K. It takes place on February 21, 2026, in Santa Ynez, California. The in-person event begins and ends at Believe Ranch and Rescue, a horse rescue organization.

The course runs through the Santa Ynez countryside. A map is noted as coming soon. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine.
Registration & Fees
Registration fees for the in-person 5K are tiered:
- $40 through August 31
- $50 through December 31
- $60 through February 20
- $70 on race day
Fees for the virtual 5K are $40 through December 31 and $50 through February 21. All stated prices include processing fees. Day-of registration opens at 8 AM.
Participant Perks & Beneficiary
All participants receive a finisher medal. Top finishers receive awards, and there are spot prizes from sponsors Rudy Project, HyperIce, and F2C. Short-sleeve dry-fit tech shirts are available for purchase for in-person participants and will be picked up on race day; a purchase link for virtual runners is noted as coming soon.
The event features local artisan pop-ups offering coffee, baked goods, wine, spirits, and arts and crafts. Horse rides are also mentioned. One hundred percent of the event's proceeds are allocated to Believe Ranch and Rescue, a 501(c)(3) organization, with the race fee noted as feeding a horse for a week.
