Event overview
The Celebrate Life 5K is the 19th annual community race held on Saturday, March 21, 2026. The event is organized by the Johnson Family YMCA in Jacksonville, Florida. Proceeds support YMCA programs that serve more than 2,000 youth on the north side of Jacksonville, including day camp, youth sports, and after-school programming. The event also highlights YMCA services for seniors.

Location and logistics
The event takes place at the Johnson Family YMCA, 5700 Cleveland Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32209. Online registration closes Friday, March 20 at 5:00 pm; only walk-up registrations are accepted on the day of the event.
Registration and fees
Standard pricing before March 8 is $20. From March 8 the price increases to $25, and same-day registration increases to $30. Family pricing is available for families of 3-5 people: $10 per family member before March 1 and $15 per family member after that date. Team discounts are offered for groups of 3-10 people who register together. Registration for the 5K run and walk opens December 24, 2025; registration for the 1-mile fun run opens January 8, 2026.
Awards and categories
Participants receive earth-friendly, sustainable medals. Gift cards are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the 18+ category. Listed age groups include 18+, 55+, and groups of 10 or more. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
