Cedaredge Applefest 5k Fitness Run and Walk
The Cedaredge Applefest 5k Fitness Run and Walk is the 18th annual community race held as part of the Applefest weekend in Cedaredge, Colorado. The event offers a measured 5K course that organizers describe as lovely and challenging and includes a shorter walking route that passes near local orchards. The event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and community supporters of all ages.
Registration is available online, by mailing a printed form, or via a Venmo payment option linked to the event; paper forms are prepared for participants who complete payment electronically. Race day logistics include packet pickup at the event booth in Cedaredge Town Park at the corner of Main Street and 5th on the days leading up to and including race morning.
This is a timed event. Medals are awarded to top finishers in age and sex categories, and a custom apple wood medal is presented to category leaders. After the race, participants can attend a raffle and enjoy food at the festival. The race takes place alongside vendors, music, and other Applefest activities, and local sponsors are acknowledged for supporting the community event.
