Cedar Polka Fest – Race Series
The Cedar Polka Fest – Race Series takes place on Saturday, August 29, 2026 in Cedar, Michigan. The series includes multiple events that begin and end in downtown Cedar and uses professional timing. Registered participants receive complimentary access to a pancake breakfast that benefits Cedar Area Fire & Rescue.
Events include:
- 4 miles - Run 4 The Kielbasa, begins and ends in downtown Cedar.
- Virtual 4 miles - Virtual Run 4 The Kielbasa, virtual participants receive a collectible T shirt.
- 2 miles - Run 2 The Pierogi, includes pancake breakfast and sausage for participants.
The series welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, wheelchair racers and dogs. Packet pick up and late registration are scheduled for the Friday before the race, 5 to 7 pm in front of the Polka Fest tent. Race day packet pick up and registration are located at the race start line near the four way stop in downtown Cedar.
Awards are given to men’s and women’s overall and age group winners for first through third place. Volunteers escort finishers to the pancake breakfast.
