Course and logistics
The half marathon is a downhill run through Cedar Canyon that transitions from SR-14 onto the Coal Creek Trail System. The trail route passes through Canyon Park and Veterans Ball Fields before reaching the finish at the Bicentennial Soccer Complex. All runners are transported by bus from the packet pickup area to the start line. Packet pickup and race-day bus pickup are located at the Heritage Center Theater Lobby, 105 N 100 E, Cedar City, UT. Parking is available in the structure next to the Heritage Center Theater and a free shuttle will run from the finish back to parked vehicles.
Support, rules and services
Aid stations are placed approximately every 2 miles and provide electrolyte drinks, water, and gels; ham operators staff each station and an ambulance is stationed at the finish. Drop bags are collected at the start and transported to the finish; bags must be labeled with name and phone number and valuables should not be placed in them. Results will be posted online after the race. Refunds are not offered; transfers or deferments are allowed until September 2, 2026 with associated fees and medical deferment options.
