About the race
The Cedar City event on September 11, 2027 includes a half marathon and an Adventure 5K that use Cedar Canyon and the Coal Creek trail system in Cedar City, Utah. All runners are transported by bus from the Heritage Center Theater Lobby (105 N 100 E, Cedar City, UT) to their respective start areas. The half marathon begins at Wood Ranch and the 5K begins further up the canyon near Rusty's Ranch House. The finish is at the Bicentennial Park Soccer Fields, 700 N 400 W, Cedar City, UT.
Course notes: the half marathon runs down Cedar Canyon along SR-14 before transitioning to the Coal Creek Trail System, passing Canyon Park and Veterans Ball Fields. Along the trail there are three road underpasses that allow runners to avoid street traffic.

- Adventure 5K starting up the canyon near Rusty's Ranch House
Support and logistics: aid stations are placed roughly every two miles and are stocked with electrolyte drinks, water, and gels; ham radio operators staff each station and an ambulance is stationed at the finish. Packet pickup is at the Heritage Center Theater Lobby on the Friday before the race; morning pickup is also available at the same location. Runners receive a numbered drop bag at packet pickup; labeled drop bags left at Wood Ranch are transported to the finish and laid out by bib number. Age divisions run from 14 & under through 80+ in multiple brackets for both races. Refunds are not offered; transfers or deferments are permitted under the stated policy.
