CBIZ Workplace Challenge
The CBIZ Workplace Challenge is a 3.5 mile run and walk event located at Jones Beach State Park. This annual summer event serves as a gathering for the Long Island legal, corporate, and non-profit communities. The event functions as both a fitness activity and a large-scale office picnic held within the state park grounds.
Participation is open to several types of organizations, including:
- Local businesses
- Governmental agencies
- Not-for-profit organizations
In addition to employees from these organizations, friends and family members are also permitted to participate in the walk or run. The event is organized with a focus on charitable giving, having raised over $1.4 million for various beneficiaries since it began.
The program includes competitive elements such as scoring and awards for participants, alongside community activities like t-shirt contests. Various sponsorship packages are available for organizations looking to publicize their brand during the event.
