Cateran Trail Ultramarathon

The Cateran Trail Ultramarathon is a challenging 55-mile race set in the scenic landscapes of Scotland, following ancient drove roads and tracks historically used by the Caterans, notorious cattle thieves. The circular route begins and ends at Gulabin Lodge in Spittal of Glenshee, featuring approximately 90% off-road terrain, including forest trails and open hills, with a total ascent of 7,450 feet. Participants have a 15-hour time limit to complete the race, which includes strict cut-off points.
