Catamount Weekly Trail Running Race
The series takes place at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston, Vermont, at 592 Governor Chittenden Road. Events are organized as a weekly trail running race series with categories for adults and youth.
Distances offered include:
- 5 km race for adult and youth categories
- 2.5 km half lap for adult and youth categories
- Cubbies for ages 5 and under
Registration fees listed for the event include $20 for adult entries and $15 for youth entries. Youth categories require participants to be under 18 years old or to present a valid student ID. Bibs are distributed at check in and new bib numbers are issued each week; single night entry bibs should not be reused. Bib pickup is available from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm and bibs must be visible during the race.
Races are held rain or shine. If delays or cancellations are necessary, updates are posted by 4:00 pm on the event Facebook page. If a race is canceled due to inclement weather, single night entries may be transferred by emailing the event organizers. Thunder between 5:30 pm and 5:45 pm results in a 30 minute delay. Thunder after 5:45 pm or thunder during the event leads to cancellation.
