Castle to River Run : Garrison, NY
The Castle to River Run is held in the Hudson Valley on Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Garrison, NY. The event includes a half marathon, a 5K, and a kids fun run. It is a fundraiser for The Friends of Philipstown Recreation, a 501c3 organization; donations are accepted to support local recreation programs.

The half marathon course mixes single track, double track, dirt road, and some paved sections, with mostly runnable terrain and a few technically challenging stretches and hills. Runners pass the historic Osborn Castle via the Castle driveway under special permission granted only for registered participants on race day. Spectators are not allowed on those private sections.
Aid and logistics: there is one aid station on the half marathon course available twice, offering water, sports drink, and basic snacks; the 5K has no aid station. The races start and finish at the Philipstown Recreation Department at 107 Glenclyffe Drive. Parking is at the recreation center and volunteers will direct vehicles. Race shirts are provided to all entrants; sign up by October 4 to guarantee a size. Registration closes October 24. Refunds are issued only if organizers cancel the event.
