Castle Race Series - Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event
The Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event takes place on the Cholmondeley Castle estate in Cheshire, set within approximately 500 acre parkland. The programme offers multiple disciplines: triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, open water swim and run, with a range of distances available.
The site features Deer Park Mere, used for the open water swim, and Tower Hill to the south of the castle, which is the highest point on the run routes and provides views of the Beeston and Peckforton Hills. A festival village is located in the heart of the estate and includes live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment and yoga.
This is a British Triathlon permitted event. Participants in triathlon or multisport races are required to hold a BTF annual membership or purchase a single use Race Pass; there is separate guidance for overseas residents. The event includes a Mixed Team Relay triathlon for clubs, families or groups.
Event services and support are provided on site and through partners, including wetsuit hire, bike hire, coaching offers and on-course nutrition provision. Photographers are positioned around the course, finish area, prize giving and event village; official digital photos are available to pre-order. Podium presentations take place for all races and all participants receive a medal which can be personalised with name and finish time.
