Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event
The Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event takes place within the Cholmondeley Castle estate in Cheshire, set across an extensive 500 acre parkland. The festival village sits in the heart of the grounds and features live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment and yoga.
The event offers multiple disciplines including triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, open water swim and run, with competitors able to select their distance. The open water swim uses Deer Park Mere. The southern run routes climb to Tower Hill, the highest point on the course, which provides panoramic views of the Beeston and Peckforton Hills. The weekend includes a Mixed Team Relay triathlon option.
This is a British Triathlon permitted event. Participants must either hold an annual BTF Core or Ultimate membership or obtain a single use Race Pass; overseas residents should follow the race pass guidance. Water testing procedures and wetsuit rules apply, and wetsuit hire is available. Photographers are positioned around the course, finish line, prize giving and event village and official images are offered after the event. Podium presentations take place for all races and all participants receive a medal that can be personalised with name and finish time. A family campsite for tents and caravans is hosted in the castle grounds, with pitches starting at £30. The event ran in 2026 and is scheduled to return on 26 and 27 June 2027.
