Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event : Cheshire

The Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Event takes place within the estate parkland in Cheshire and offers multiple disciplines across a weekend format. Disciplines listed for the event include triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, open water swim and run, with a range of distances available.

The venue is set in the castle grounds and 500 acre parkland. The open water swim uses Deer Park Mere. Run routes rise to Tower Hill, the highest point on the courses, with views toward the Beeston and Peckforton Hills. A festival village at the heart of the estate provides live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment and yoga.

The event is British Triathlon permitted. Triathlon or multisport participants must hold an annual British Triathlon membership or purchase a single use Race Pass; overseas residents are asked to follow the Race Pass guidance. Mixed Team Relay triathlon is included and podium presentations take place for all races. All participants receive a medal; medal inserts can be personalised with name and finish time.

Event services and support include on-course photographers, race results publication, wetsuit hire, bike hire options, coaching packages and a family campsite for tents and caravans with pitches starting at £30. Volunteer and paid event marshal roles are also available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
