Castle Hill Foot Race : 55th edition
The event takes place on 7 June 2026 in North Ward with start and finish at Queens Park on Kennedy Street. Two course options are offered and both begin and end at Queens Park.
- 4.2 km short course
- 7.4 to 7.5 km long course
The long course follows streets through the surrounding neighbourhood, continues onto Stanton Terrace and Hillside Crescent, then accesses the Goat Track to reach the top of Castle Hill. Runners complete a loop near the Castle Hill car park and return to the streets for the finish near the Kennedy Street car park.
The short course follows a similar initial street route, continues to the end of the bitumen on Hillside Crescent, then retraces back to Stanton Terrace and returns through local streets to the same finishing dirt track near Queens Gardens and the Kennedy Street car park.
Entry cost is $10 per person. Registration is preferred online by the stated closing time on 6 June 2026; on-the-day registrations will be accepted for administration purposes. A free BBQ sausage sizzle will be provided after the event by an event supporter. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
