30th Annual Casey's Kids 5K/Fun Run & KISD Family Health Expo
The event marks the 30th annual Casey's Kids 5K/Fun Run and the KISD Family Health Expo in Keller, Texas. The program began when a former Keller ISD counselor addressed a student absence due to lack of clothing; the Keller ISD Council of PTAs expanded that effort in 1997 into an ongoing program that provides clothing, backpacks, school supplies, and other essentials to Keller ISD students.
The running portion includes organized distances on a certified course. Compton Time and Measure partnered with the Keller ISD Council of PTAs to certify the race route. The event also features a family health expo aimed at families and community members.
Event locations named in the program include Bear Creek Park at 400 Bear Creek Parkway in Keller and Bear Creek Running Company for packet pickup. Packet pickup is scheduled on the days prior to race day. Race day registration and check-in are listed at Bear Creek Park. Registrations received after January 14, 2027 are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
