About the race
The Keller Council of PTAs and Keller ISD present the 30th Annual Casey's Kids 5K/Fun Run and KISD Family Health Expo in Keller, Texas on March 6, 2027. The event supports Casey's Kids, a program that supplies clothing, essentials, backpacks, and school supplies to Keller ISD students in need.
Casey’s Kids began in 1997 after a school counselor identified a student missing school due to lack of clothing. The program’s mission is to help students access basic items that support school attendance and participation.
Events on the day include road running distances and a family-focused expo. Distances offered:
- 5K Run - 3.1 miles
- Family Fun Run - 1 mile
The race route is a certified course in partnership with Compton Timing and Measure. Packet pickup takes place in the days before the event at Bear Creek Running Company, 121 Rufe Snow Drive #103, Keller, TX. On event day, registration and check-in occur at Bear Creek Park, 400 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller, TX, and there is a bus service from Bear Creek Intermediate School. Awards and medals are presented on the event day.
Registration opens October 15, 2026. Published registration fees include $30 for the 5K, $15 for the Family Fun Run, and $20 for a supporter option. Registrations after January 14, 2027 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
