Casey Cares Foundation 17th Annual 5K Run/Walk
The Casey Cares Foundation's 17th Annual 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for August 1, 2026, at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. The event offers in-person and virtual options and supports programs for families with critically ill children.
Event options include:
- 5K Run (chip-timed, 3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile Walk
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 1 Mile Walk
- 5K Run child registration (8 years and under)
- 1 Mile Walk child registration (8 years and under)
Participants receive a tech shirt, race bib and finisher medal. The deadline to order a tech shirt is July 17; children 8 years and under do not receive a race shirt. Registration remains open through August 1, and the event includes awards for largest team, most spirited team and top fundraising team.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, July 31, noon to 6pm at the Casey Cares Foundation office at 7100 Columbia Gateway Drive, Suite 155, Columbia, MD 21046. Guests who wish to stay at the zoo after the event may purchase add-on Maryland Zoo admission tickets for $15 per person.
