Cascade Lakes Relay - Bend, Oregon
The Cascade Lakes Relay takes place June 26 to 27, 2026 in Bend, Oregon. The course runs from Diamond Lake Resort to the Bend area, traveling through the Cascade Lakes Highway, around Mt. Bachelor, the Oregon Outback, and rural agricultural country.
The relay is divided into team legs along a point-to-point course. There are three event options with differing total distances, leg counts, and team sizes:
- 216.6 miles; 36 legs; 8 to 12 runners; starts at Diamond Lake
- 132 miles; 24 legs; 8 to 12 runners; starts at Silver Lake
- 94 miles; 18 legs; 6 to 12 runners; starts at Willow Butte
Team captains register the team and pay the full registration fee at the time of registration. Team roster changes, division switches, and name changes can be made before June 1 to ensure correct bib information. Teammates should be registered by April 1 to guarantee T-shirt sizes. Once a team registration is accepted and confirmed, the registration fee is non-refundable.
Event weekend features include a kickoff BBQ at Diamond Lake the night before, organized activities along the route including a late night event, and a finishline festival at Riverbend Park. Teams often use decorated vehicles for transportation and support at exchange points.
The Cascade Relays organization supports a local nonprofit foundation and more than 20 local charities, and has contributed over $600,000 since 2008. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
