Cascade Lakes Relay (June 25–26, 2027) : Bend, Oregon
The Cascade Lakes Relay is a multi-day team relay event and a Central Oregon tradition since 2008. The course begins at Diamond Lake Resort and travels through the Oregon Outback and rural agricultural areas before following the Cascade Lakes Highway, passing around Mt. Bachelor and finishing in the resort community of Bend. The route includes lakes, mountain views, and forested sections.
Distance options and team formats:
- CLR 36: 216.6 miles, 36 legs, 8 to 12 runners
- CLR 24: 132 miles, 24 legs, 8 to 12 runners
- Walk Relay: 94 miles, 18 legs, 6 to 12 runners
Registration and team logistics are managed through a team captain. Registration fees are due in full at the time of registration and team fees are non-refundable once accepted and confirmed. Teammates must be registered by April 1 to guarantee T-shirt sizes. A kickoff BBQ is held the night before at Diamond Lake, the course includes late-night and daytime segments, and the event concludes with a finishline festival at Riverbend Park featuring music and food.
