Cascade Express Marathon & Half Marathon
The Cascade Express Marathon & Half Marathon is scheduled for September 12, 2026 in North Bend, Washington. The event uses point to point gravel courses through the Cascade Mountains, finishing at the Homestead Valley Trailhead and starting at the Hyak Trailhead.

- 13.1 miles - Half Marathon (about 800 feet net descent, includes 2.4 mile tunnel)
Both courses are USATF certified (Marathon WA25021RMB; Half WA25023RMB) and the marathon is listed as a Boston qualifying course. The marathon route runs along Keechelus Lake on a gravel trail; the half enters the 2.4 mile Snoqualmie Tunnel and continues through mountain scenery and railroad trestles.
Logistics noted by organizers include packet pickup the day before the race at Snoqualmie Running in Snoqualmie, WA, and parking options near the start such as free parking at the Summit I-90 Ski Area or paid parking at the Hyak Trailhead (Washington Discover Pass holders may park free). Runners are transported back to start area by shuttle buses that run at regular intervals from the finish. Pacers will be available.
