About the race
Carry on in the Colliery is a 5-mile lapped trail running event held at Rabbit Ings Country Park in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Part of the Yorkshire Colliery Weekend, the race takes place in late spring, offering runners stunning views of the natural landscape and a short, steep climb each lap that provides scenic overlooks of the local countryside. The course is off-road, set within a picturesque country park, and features a supportive atmosphere with finisher medals awarded.
