Carry Forward 5K - Nashville
The Carry Forward 5K in Nashville is a fundraising run and walk for Wounded Warrior Project taking place on October 10, 2026 at GEODIS Park. The event supports Wounded Warrior Project’s mission to honor and empower wounded warriors; steps and funds raised support programs, connection, and services for veterans.
Participants may walk, jog, or run on event day. The event offers three optional ways to show support: carry a flag to show patriotism, carry a weight to represent responsibilities veterans bear while serving, or carry another person to symbolize one warrior supporting another.
Registration is available for individuals or squads. Adult registration fees are listed in two tiers: $45 through March 31 and $55 from April 1 through event day. Youth registration is $25 for ages 6 to 17 and free for children 5 and under. Registered veterans and active duty military may be eligible for promotional rates.
Fundraising is supported with customizable fundraising pages and a Carry Forward 5K app available on Apple and Android. Participant kits distributed the week of the event include an event T-shirt, drawstring bag, bib, and other items; registered children receive a race bib only. All finisher medals are available at the finish line. The event listing shows $66,816 raised toward a $250,000 goal, with 662 participants and 81 squads.
