About the race
The Carnlough Quarry Challenge Run is a challenging 5K multi-terrain race held in Carnlough, Northern Ireland. The course starts and finishes in the village center, featuring a climb through a quarry with loose limestone paths, offering scenic views of the coastline and, on clear days, Scotland. Runners navigate climbs, descents, and a short out-and-back section on Largy Road before descending back to the village, passing under a distinctive limestone bridge near the finish.
