Carnethy Skyloop Hill Race

Carnethy Skyloop is a Category A long hill race organized by Carnethy Hill Running Club in the Pentland Hills south of Edinburgh. The course spans around 16 miles with about 6200 feet of ascent, delivering steep climbs, rough descents, and open moorland. Much of the route nods to the Pentland Skyline but remains a distinct, largely unmarked course that requires map-and-compass navigation in changing conditions.

Start and finish are at the Lothianburn Clubhouse in Midlothian, where registration also takes place.
