2026 NJSP 5K CHASE - 44th Annual
The event is organized by the State Police Memorial Association and takes place at 1040 River Rd. (Rte. 175), West Trenton, New Jersey. The occasion combines the 5K race with a Family Open House and an open house at the New Jersey State Police Museum.
The 5K is open to all and includes separate divisions for enlisted New Jersey State Troopers, other law enforcement, and civilian participants. A flat registration fee is listed for each division and spots are limited. All participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal. Post-race activities include an awards ceremony and food and refreshments. Race timing is provided by Racing NJ.
Awards are presented across multiple categories. Team awards require a minimum of three members and team standings are based on the combined time of the top three finishers. Law enforcement awards require full-time, armed status with full arrest powers and presentation of credentials. Individual and team trophies include named cups and trophies for NJSP teams, other law enforcement teams, open teams, and mixed teams. Age group medals are awarded for standard age brackets, and duplication of individual awards is not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
