Event overview
The Cardinals 5K is scheduled for April 18, 2026, in Saint Louis, MO, at Ballpark Village (601 Clark Avenue). The event offers a 5K distance in both in-person and virtual formats. The in-person course starts and finishes on Clark Street between Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium and runs through downtown streets. Pre-race activities and warm-ups are on the Busch II infield in Together Credit Union Plaza, and a post-race party returns to that plaza. In-person participants may walk a celebratory lap around the warning track inside Busch Stadium after completing the 5K. The event honors the career of a Cardinals Hall of Famer. All participants receive a long-sleeved shirt or sweatshirt, a collectible finisher medallion featuring a Cardinals Hall of Famer, and a digital finisher's certificate. In-person entries are chip timed; virtual participants may submit results.
Logistics and entry
Registration for adults starts at $40; children 13 and under can register for $35. Posted price ranges show in-person fees from $40 to $55 and virtual fees from $45 to $60. Additional participant benefits include a 25% discount at the Cardinals Team Store, a 25% discount at Cardinals Nation Restaurant, buy-one-get-one admission at the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum, a 10% promo code for a Cardinals Kids Club membership, and a discount on Cardinals tickets for Cardinals 5K Day. No dogs are permitted on the 5K route or on the field; service animals are permitted by special request. Strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the pack and are permitted into Busch Stadium for the celebratory lap.
