Cardinals 5K
The Cardinals 5K in Saint Louis is offered in both in person and virtual formats. The in person event takes place at Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium on April 18, 2026. Virtual participation is available across a window that begins February 1, 2026 and extends through May 30, 2026.
All participants receive apparel and finisher recognition, including a long sleeved shirt or sweatshirt, a collectible finisher medallion featuring a Cardinals Hall of Famer, and a digital Finisher's Certificate. In person participants will be chip timed on race day. Virtual participants have access to submit their results.
Pre race activities and warm ups are held on the Busch II infield in Together Credit Union Plaza at Ballpark Village. The course starts and finishes on Clark Street between Ballpark Village and Busch Stadium and routes through downtown Saint Louis. After completing the 5K, in person participants may walk a celebratory lap around the warning track inside Busch Stadium and return to Together Credit Union Plaza for a post race gathering.
Registration prices start at $40 for adults and $35 for children 13 and under. The event includes a range of participant discounts such as 25% off at the Cardinals Team Store and Cardinals Nation Restaurant, BOGO admission at the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum, and other promotional offers. Due to congestion, no dogs are permitted in the 5K or on the field; service animals are permitted by special request. Strollers are allowed but should start at the back, and children under 7 may ride in a stroller with a participating adult without registering.
