Captain Seth Mitchell HERO 5K Run and Walk : Loveland, OH
The event is a community 5K run and walk held in Loveland, Ohio on October 3, 2026. The course is approximately 3.1 miles and begins and ends at Nisbet Park in Historic Loveland. Participants assemble at the Linda J Cox parking lot in downtown Loveland near Loveland Canoe and Kayak.
There are in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person option is a traditional 5K run/walk. Virtual options include a general Virtual 5K and a Virtual Carolina Beach event limited to participants at Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Virtual participants may complete the 5K at a location of their choosing and may post times to the event’s virtual results page.
Timing for the in-person race uses MyLaps Bibtags with chip timing; entrants are not required to turn in the chip. Awards are given to the overall male and female runners, and age-group standings will be posted online. Post-race refreshments are provided and official results are posted online after the event.
Registration details include pre-registration and virtual fees, online registration through Race Day, mail-in registrations postmarked by September 26, 2026, and higher late or race-day fees.
