Capernwray Mid Week Series July
Capernwray Mid Week Series July is an evening multisport event at Capernwray Dive Centre, Jackdaw Quarry, Carnforth. The programme includes triathlon, aquathlon, aquabike and open water swims held at the flooded quarry and on nearby roads and towpaths. The event on 7 July 2027 is one date in a summer series that also runs on 2 June, 4 August and 1 September 2027.
Races use an open water swim in the quarry, a bike leg on an undulating route through Lancashire countryside, and a run along the Lancaster Canal towpath. The minimum age for entry is 15 years. Entries open on 1 December 2026 and close on 6 July 2027. Entry fees vary by race type.
Entries include free parking, water safety cover, timing (total time only), professional event photography, and access to toilets and changing facilities. The event is organised by T2 Events and takes place outdoors at the Capernwray site. Open water swim distances and multisport distances are provided so participants can choose the format that suits them.
